The Wounded Warrior Project Foundation 11425. I was blessed and honored this past September to attend the funerals of 6 out of the 13 service members KIA in Kabul Afghanistan. I went to Laredo Texas for LCpl David L. Espinoza to Lawrence Massachusetts for Sgt Johanny RosarioPichardo to St Louis Missouri for LCpl Jared M. Smitz to Omaha Nebraska for Cpl Daegan W. Page to Sacramento California for Sgt Nicole L. Gee, and finally to Arlington National Cemetery to lay SSgt Darin T. Hoover to rest. My time during this week enabled me to pay my final respects and be there for the fallens families. I started a campaign for the Wounded Warrior Project Foundation and hosted a fundraiser in memory of those killed and also for the service members who survived and were in critical condition. My goal is to raise 10,000 and I have completed 1,000$ of that and have also hosted a 5K through the WWP Foundation annual virtual 5K marathon up to the crosses in Camp Horno to lay photos and flags for the fallen.

Naval Relief Society. I utilized this organization in Okinawa Japan in 2017. I was 25 years, pregnant and was unmarried at the time, buying my first car. I worked on Camp Hansen and needed to get a car ASAP! I was short on money that month and needed to make a down payment to get a reliable car at BC Motors. I sat down with the clerks at the front and they approved me on the spot and also did a financial worksheet with me in order to help me pay off my allotment quicker and pointed me in so many directions of resources for a new mother. I was overwhelmed with generosity so much that once I paid off my allotment in 6 months I turned around and pledged 600$ the following year at a CFC drive to give back! What goes around comes around and I’m forever thankful for this help during that time!
