What is the charitable cause you are most passionate about and why?

Tha charitable cause I am most passionate about is the USO. There has been a USO in almost every airport I've ever gone to. Although I have never been to their branches out in town,, im sure they have great services there as well. They support the men and women of this country, along with their families. They provide relief and comfort whilst traveling and offer food to those who come through their doors. Most people don't know what the USO is but it helps greatly for the Airmen traveling overseas from deployment, or the sailor, hungry traveling to their next ship, or the soldier with his family with a long layover.

Why do you give through the CFC?

Giving through the combined federal campaign can create a stream of donations that can make a bigger difference.

How do contributions through the CFC help your cause?

I think contributions through the CFC help my cause because it furthers my voice in a sense of reassurance. It allows the chance for donations to be greater and delivered in a way that is much more visible.

What is the charitable cause you are most passionate about and why?

Being a survivor of childhood abuse, I know the importance of organizations working to end child abuse, domestic violence, and child sex trafficking.
Children deserve to grow up feeling safe and loved. Agencies that focus on child and family services help to make this happen.

Why do you give through the CFC?

I have spent years working in non-profits and understand the on-going financial needs these agencies face to keep providing quality services to those in need. The agencies represented through the CFC are vetted and found to be solid, reputable organizations.

How do contributions through the CFC help your cause?

I choose to have my charitable contributions be dedictated to organizations who work for the prevention of child abuse and domestic violence. It's our responsibiity of the entire community to ensure children are safe and well cared for.

What is the charitable cause you are most passionate about and why?

Deaf Awareness is near and dear to my heart because my mom and dad are both Deaf and I have witnessed flagrant discrimination against them and their friends. . Things have changed a great deal over the years to improve access, thanks to the Americans with Disabilities Act, however, the struggle continues. Many people still have biases and don't realize Deaf people can do anything anyone else can do, except hear.

Why do you give through the CFC?

Giving through CFC is like the Nike and Ron Popeil of donating, "just do it," "set it and forget it." The payments are deducted directly from my check and I don't have to worry about a thing.

How do contributions through the CFC help your cause?

The contributions aid the charity to further their agenda, fighting for rights in the Deaf/Hard of Hearing community. The donations help subsidize the cost of research, legal fees, salaries, and many of the resources needed to support the Deaf and Hard of Hearing community in their battle to overcome being a marginalized population.
