Jessica and Jeremy first came to the Regional Food Bank FRC in October. Both had lost their jobs and were currently living in their vehicle. Regional Food Bank FRC staff gave the couple information on several community resources who may be able to assist them beyond food assistance.

Regional Food Bank FRC staff followed up with the couple two weeks later and were able to provide them with agencies to call for assistance on utility deposits. In January, the clients returned to the Regional Food Bank FRC for food assistance and thanked staff for their assistance after the referrals led to several resources who helped them to eventually get into an apartment.

“You guys helped with the resources. If it wasn’t for the food you gave us, we would have gone hungry; and it helped us save money for our home.” Jessica said.
