Valley Mission an Agency Partner of United Way of Southeastern Idaho reaches higher for SE Idaho

Adding new program to our funded partners is always an exciting experience. At UWSEI we invest your dollars in results and in local programs that are making a difference in the lives of others. Please help us welcome Valley Mission into the United Way of Southeastern Idaho family.
During the pandemic, Valley Mission had to go mobile and moved into the Union Pacific parking lot. From serving an average of 160-200 families weekly, they quickly jumped into the 250 to 300 households served range. This brought thousands of new faces each week. One of their new senior guests began coming in late April. Each week she would say how grateful she was for the help and the food. By mid-June she pulled the director aside and, bashfully, said, "I hate to admit this, but this is probably the healthiest I've eaten in years. With all that's been going on with this virus, I'm not sure I would have been able to get by without your support and this assortment of food. I think you've helped a lot of people by just what you're doing here each week, and I can't thank you enough." Thank you, Valley Mission, for reaching higher and caring for SE Idaho.
