Meat to Feed the Hungry - FHFH Overview
The video opens with the Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry logo slowly zooming in followed by a hunter named Brad who is shown seated and walking to a hunting stand while speaking the following...
"Hunting is an opportunity for me to get out in God's creation, spend time with my family, and get away from the everyday stresses and worries of this world. Farmers and Hunters Feeding the Hungry gives me the opportunity to do something I enjoy - hunt - and still provide for those who need. FHFH is about fulfilling Jesus' words in Matthew 25 'For I was hungry and you gave me meat' and He says that 'If you do this to the least of these you are serving me.'"
During this segment text overlays appear in the following order: "40 million Americans are food insecure", "We (FHFH) pay local butcher shops to transform donated deer into nutritious meat for the needy", "The meat is given to local food banks and ministries that feed the hungry", and "Each donated deer can provide enough meat for 200 meals."
The next video segment shows Joyce, a feeding program coordinator, along with packages of meat being distributed to needy individuals. Joyce states the following...
"Here at the Franklin apartments we have a lot of seniors and people with disabilities that love having this deer meat. We serve it to them three times a month and I can't give them enough of it. So I really thank you all so much from the bottom of my heart. Please keep up the good work and take care of our hungry people. Thank you!"
The video ends with the FHFH logo slowly zooming out.
