Chattahoochee Riverkeeper. Keeping Watch Over Our Waters.

The Chattahoochee River is such a special place, not just for recreational beauty and wildlife, but also for industry and drinking water.

(Jason Ulseth, Riverkeeper:) For the past 25 years, we have depended on partnerships with federal agencies such as the United States Geological Survey, National Park Service, and the Army Corps of Engineers to help us protect this water body and keep it as the lifeblood that this region has to have.

Education (Video shows students aboard one of Chattahoochee Riverkeeper's Floating Classrooms. A teacher holds up a bottle of dirty water.)

Monitoring (Water flows out of a pipe into a creek. A man holds a sensor near the water and looks at it.)

Stewardship (A group of volunteers pushes a tire up and out of a creek bank. Volunteers throw bags of trash into a truck. A National Park Service employee arranges trash bags.)

Advocacy (A man happily hands out posters. A man and young woman look closely at a clipboard. A group of volunteers pose in front of a state government building.)

Keeping watch over our waters for more than 25 years (Aerial footage of the Chattahoochee River.)
