Bryan County Sheriff's deputies with donated equipment

The following is communication written to the United States Deputy Sheriff’s Association from a Law Enforcement agency we’ve been able to assist with donated safety equipment:

"When Sheriff Mark Crowe took office as the Sheriff of Bryan County, Georgia for his first term, he was tasked with a minimal budget that was approved by the previous administration, to find a way to combat impaired driving, impaired driving crashes, and impaired driving fatalities. Sheriff Crowe formed a Traffic Enforcement Unit and with the assistance of the United States Deputy Sheriff's Association providing a grant to equip all 4 Traffic Enforcement deputies and deputies in the Patrol Division with much needed Alco Sensors that the agency previously did not have. The Sheriff's Office has aggressively attacked the issue. To date, The Bryan County Sheriff's Office has had a 340 % increase in Impaired Driving Arrest and DUI related Fatalities are down 20%. Sheriff Mark Crowe and the Bryan County Sheriff's Office remain committed to seeking and prosecuting Impaired Drivers across Bryan County and these cases are easier with the tools provided by the United States Deputies Association.
