Creating Bright Futures

Did you know Nevada is one of seven states that does not have a school for the blind? In 2020, Nevada Blind Children's Foundation opened the Children's Learning Center. This is the only licensed special needs preschool in the state of Nevada. Our preschool is designed to specifically support blind and visually impaired youth. By creating early education learning opportunities, we are able to help our youngest learners. We opened the Children's Learning Center in February 2020 and quickly had to move to an online learning opportunity. In August 2020, we were able to open the doors to our facility once again. Trey is one of our participants. He proudly shows you that he has earned a prize for completing all his homework for the month! We are so thankful to have the opportunity to support our young learners and help them reach their full potential! Nevada Blind Children's Foundation is located in Henderson, Nevada. Our mission is to provide the essential building blcoks including extended education curriculum, extracurricular activities, social opportunities and transitional skills to children who are visually impaired.
