“My name is Caleb. I am in the third grade. I go to public School. I am 10 years old. This year I started in the red, but finished in the green. My score went up 259 points in reading, math, spelling and comprehension. Thank you to the tutors for helping me this year.”
CFC’s support for United Way of Leavenworth County provides support for afterschool tutoring and mentoring program for K-12TH grades in the Fort Leavenworth and greater Leavenworth area. Volunteers are retired and active military, teachers and community members. Most students, like Caleb, have learning disabilities. Many of the students who have gone through this program are now serving in our US Military, the medical field, educators, lawyers, community leaders and many other professions. Thank you in advance for your support. We cannot put a price on education equality.

Lack of education is one of the biggest contributors to poverty. It takes a community to build the next generation of leaders.
