I'm passionate about the Breast Cancer and Amputee community. Having gone through both , I understand the need for support, mentally, physical and financially. I went through breast cancer twice, and in 2010 I lost part of my left leg to what I called an unforeseeable misfortune.
Many people are facing so many adversities and hardships in life. Their need and cry for help is so great. I want to impact others lives for good and do my part to be the face of change.
So many women who go through breast cancer may not be able to work because of treatment or afford their everyday living expenses, like rent, food, household bills, doctor bills, insurance co-payments, medical bills, transportation to doctor appointments, and many other expenses. And in the amputee community they are facing some of the same expenses and also need equipment or new prosthesis to just back to normal living.
