Boston Children's Hospital:
My daughter Mackenzie was an eight grade student and athlete at Mount Greylock Regional High School in Williamstown, MA. At some point we became aware of the fact that her health was failing to the point where she was no longer able to participate in athletics or concentrate on her school work. After numerous visits to medical facilities we were left with no answers and a child whose health was failing in front of our eyes. We somehow became aware of the services offered by Boston Children's Hospital and contacted them for assistance. The staff at Children's initiated an exhaustive evaluation of my daughter and concluded that she was suffering from a thyroid disorder as well as diabetes 1. After a team deliberation and a series of treatments and therapy, Mackenzie was able to get her life back and return as a student and talented athlete at the High School level. Mackenzie is now a Practicing Speech Language Pathologist in Virginia and well on her way to an amazing career and I believe we owe it all to the intuitive staff at Boston Children's Hospital. We will forever be grateful for their Professionalism, efficiency, and compassion.
